We went to Legoland during our winter break in January. The kids loved it so much we bought a season pass and went back again in February. With it being only a 45 minute drive from our house, it makes for a fun adventure when the kids have random days off school. Although a good part of the park and ride are geared towards younger kids, there are several bigger rides that my older kids enjoy. Plus Legos are pretty much their favorite thing in the world so just walking around the park makes them happy. There were so many cool Lego build to look at and take pictures with.

Miniland was definitely a favorite. They have a whole area of the top sights of Japan built out of Legos. Every time we looked we have noticed something we didn’t notice before.

The food was actually really good! Riley wants to go back just for the chicken so that is saying something. Lego shaped fries, churros, apple fries, fried chicken… all delicious!

We have been so lucky to have friends join us each time!! Our first trip we ran into Grant’s friend Thunder and his family. It was so fun to spend the day with them! In February my friend Amy and her daughter Phoebe came along and we had a blast together!

I definitely recommend going on a random weekday if you can. There were almost no lines and we got to ride things over and over! The park isn’t huge, but it is just the right size to be able to see and do almost everything in one day.
